Auditions

Thank you for attending yesterday's planning meeting for Hollywood Idol-2011. Auditions are now scheduled for acts in Group A and Group B. If your act is labeled Group A, you will be expected to audition on Wednesday, February 23 in Room 503 at your assigned time; if your act is labeled Group B, you will be expected to audition on Wednesday, March 2 in Room 503 at your assigned time. Acts must be prepared and ready to perform; if your act misses its audition time, other acts will perform and your act will be placed last in the order and may not be able to audition if the time runs past 5:00 P.M. All parent permission letters and Los Angeles Unified School District Parent/Guardian Publicity Authorization and Release letters are due from all contestants on the day of their auditions.

Hollywood Idol-2011

The planning meeting for Hollywood Idol-2011 is scheduled for 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 16 in Room 503. Only those students who submitted an Idol interest form are permitted to attend; no guests please. It is important to bring the signed parent permission letter to this meeting. This parent permission letter was delivered to you in your Advisory class on Monday, February 14. Students must be prepared to specifically describe their performance, including choice of music, dance and choreography routines, wardrobe choices and names and responsibilities of group members. An additional meeting is planned for February 23, where students will audition their performances so that acts may be chosen for the show.

Those entrants who did not list an Advisory teacher for each member in the group are responsible for providing a parent permission letter to everyone in their group; that letter is due at Wednesday's meeting.

NO FOOD OR DRINK IS PERMITTED IN ROOM 503, THE AUDITORIUM, THE STAGE AND DRESSING ROOMS!
