Thanks to all our performers, crew and especially to Ms. Morrison for a great show.  The FIDM Prom Fashion Show under the direction of Ruxandra and H20 under the direction of Mr. Sacks were just terrific.  "Twist My Hips" dancers and Claudia and Ashley's opening numbers got the show off to a great start.  Thanks to William, Ronnie and Nora for a fabulous backstage and behind-the-scenes production effort.

AUDITIONS and LUNCH MEETING

All Idol applications must be submitted by November 30, 2012; students will be notified by e-mail which audition date to attend in Room 503.  Students must submit music choices in advance of the auditions, either on flash drive or CD so selections may be ready for audition performances.   Drop by Room 422 at nutrition or lunch.

The planning meeting for Hollywood Idol 2013 is scheduled at lunch on Monday, December 3, 2012 in Room 422--print this blog listing as a pass to enter the building.  Only those students who submitted Idol applications are permitted to attend; no guests, please!  Students will participate in a discussion of music selections, dance and choreography routines, wardrobe choices and other information pertinent to preparing for the auditions, rehearsals and the show.  Students will receive a parent permit letter that details the requirements for participating in this year's Hollywood Idol and this letter MUST be returned on the audition dates announced; all performers in the group need a signed parent letter.  The letter will detail all rehearsal dates so students may make a commitment to attending rehearsals on their assigned dates.

After the two audition dates on December 5 and December 12, the finalized list of performers selected for the show will be posted on the door of Room 422 on the day before winter break, Friday, December 14.  Students are expected to rehearse and perfect their acts over the three-week winter break and be ready for the rehearsal schedules in January, February and March.
