Hollywood Idol-2011
Rehearsals continue for Hollywood Idol-2011, scheduled for April 15, 2011 in an afternoon Advisory in the Hollywood High School auditorium. Seating music is scheduled for 1:39-1:51 P.M. and start of show begins at 1:51 P.M.
The order of performance has been finalized for the nine acts in the show:
Warm Up Ensemble: "Loser Like Me"
Warm Up Kevin: "Beat Box"
1. Brian: "Just the Way You Are"
2. Claudia: "Born This Way"

UPDATE March 17, 2011
Idol rehearsals are proceeding with full participation by selected performers. School Based Management approved an afternoon Advisory on April 15, providing an uninterrupted eighty-five minute window for Hollywood Idol-2011. Remaining rehearsal dates are Wednesdays March 23, March 30, April 6; mandatory auditorium rehearsal dates are Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 14.
The Hollywood Performing Arts Magnet (PAM) singing group H2O has been asked to perform during the judge's deliberation period as the winners of Hollywood Idol-2011 are determined. Two warm-up acts are being considered: an opening number by select Idol cast members of the television show Glee hit "Don't Stop Believing," and a fast-paced Human Beatbox performance.
The suggested order of performers as of this date is:

Auditions
Thank you for attending yesterday's planning meeting for Hollywood Idol-2011. Auditions are now scheduled for acts in Group A and Group B. If your act is labeled Group A, you will be expected to audition on Wednesday, February 23 in Room 503 at your assigned time; if your act is labeled Group B, you will be expected to audition on Wednesday, March 2 in Room 503 at your assigned time. Acts must be prepared and ready to perform; if your act misses its audition time, other acts will perform and your act will be placed last in the order and may not be able to audition if the time runs past 5:00 P.M. All parent permission letters and Los Angeles Unified School District Parent/Guardian Publicity Authorization and Release letters are due from all contestants on the day of their auditions.
